2024 RACE UPDATE:The 2024 Ride or Glide is FULL! There will be no day of registration.
9:30-11am: Bib pick-up and day of registration in Pro Shop
11:15am: Pre-race meeting, on deck of Greens Bar & Grill
11:30am: RACE BEGINS!
12:15pm: Food and beverage service begins
~1:30pm: Awards + Door Prizes on the deck!
Parking
There is a large parking lot at the golf course, but to ensure all participants have a space to park we ask please car pool if you can!
Start, Finish, & Exchange
The start line, finish line, and exchange zone will all be in the same area, directly in front of the parking lot. Stan + Lars are working hard to widen the first part of the course! Even with their hard work you can expect things to be a bit chaotic in the mass start, think of that as part of the fun! When you register you will be asked to rate the "competitiveness" of your team. This information will be used if we get enough registrants that we need to start the race in 2 waves.
Prizes + Party!
We will award prizes to all first place teams in Men's, Women's and Mixed divisions for fastest:
• biker + skier team
• skier + skier team
• biker + skier Masters team (40 and older)
• skier + skier Masters team (40 and older)
A Prize will also be awarded to the team with the best costumes!
PARTY TIME!
Bring some dry clothes to put on after your race so you can stick around a while! Greens Bar and Grill will provide finger foods to snack on and the bar & restaurant will be open starting at noon. We will hand out awards and door prizes at 1:30pm on the deck!
RACE DETAILS
COURSE DESCRIPTION
The course is a flat and fun 9km loop. The race starts on the golf course, then turns right out of the golf course onto the Alaska Dog Mushers Association Trails. A large 5 mile loop is done on these trails before you ski or bike back into the golf course and finish. The trails will be freshly groomed. They are JUST wide enough to pass, but you will need to holler and let people know your are coming by!
